CYCLONIC SEPARATOR

A Cyclonic Separator is an industrial air pollution control device designed to separate dust particles and solid contaminants from an air or gas stream by using centrifugal force. It is widely used in various industries for dust collection, gas cleaning, and improving the efficiency of industrial processes.

CYCLONIC SEPARATOR DESCRIPTION

The Cyclonic Separator consists of a cylindrical body, conical bottom section, tangential inlet, gas outlet pipe, and dust collection hopper. Dust-laden air enters the separator tangentially, creating a swirling motion. Due to centrifugal force, heavier dust particles move towards the outer wall and fall into the collection hopper, while the cleaned gas exits through the top outlet.

Working principle

1.  Dust-laden air enters the separator.
2.  A circular motion or vortex is created inside the separator.
3.  Centrifugal force pushes the dust particles toward the outer wall.
4.  The dust particles fall into the bottom hopper and are collected.
5.  The relatively clean air exits through the top outlet.
