Roof Extractor Centrifugal Type

Roof Extractor Centrifugal Type

What is a centrifugal roof extracter?
A centrifugal roof extractor is a type of fan that is mounted on the roof of a building to extract air, fumes, or dust. It is called a centrifugal extractor because it uses a rotating impeller to create centrifugal force, which throws the air outwards.
Centrifugal roof extractors are often used in industrial applications, such as factories and warehouses, to remove fumes and dust from the air. They can also be used in commercial buildings, such as restaurants and hotels, to remove smoke and cooking odors. Another type of centrifugal roof extractor is the direct-drive centrifugal extractor. This type of extractor has a motor that is directly connected to the impeller. Direct-drive centrifugal extractors are more efficient than belt-driven centrifugal extractors, but they are also more expensive and difficult to maintain.

Construction
Casing is produced in mild steel or galvanized steel mounted on a horizontal square base. The rainhood is made of fiberglass for protection against adverse weather conditions. The impeller having manually adjustable pitch blades is made of PPG, PAG or pressure-casted aluminium. Painting or galvanized after manufacture is normal finish on all parts.
Operating Temperature
-20°C to +55°C
Impeller
The Impeller is made of cold rolled sheet steel backward curved blades with epoxy or powder coating finish.
Finish
Painting or galvanized after manufacture is normal finish on all parts.
